Job Title:Machine Operator
Schedule:Monday Thursday.

Shift Hours: 5:00am 3:30pm

Pay Range:$19.00 - $22.00/hourDOE

Position Summary:
The Machine Operatoris responsible forpreparing work orders by kitting necessary raw materialsoperatingproduction machinery and ensuring that all parts produced meet specified quality standards. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety protocols and the ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment.

Duties andResponsibilities:

• Prepare each work order by kitting all the necessary raw materials.

• Utilize cutting machines to achieve material final lengths and dimensions as specified.

• Operate production machineryin accordance withprints and specifications.

• Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.

• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with functional quality and cosmetic specifications.

• Maintain logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.

• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.

• Perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance on machinery.

• Ensurecorrect parts are kept inappropriate quantitiesto support production and assembly requirements.

• Perform repetitive material supply functions following detailed work direction and guidelines.

• Follow established departmental policies procedures andobjectives including continuous quality improvement and safetyobjectives.

• Ensure proper careinthe use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.

MinimumQualifications:

• Previousmachineoperating experience preferred.

• Basic reading writing and arithmetic skills in English.

• Use ofvisual aids verbal and written instruction tooperatemachines.

• Ability to work independently. Able to set up/troubleshoot a variety of machines.

• Manual dexterityrequiredfor operating machinery and computers.

• General computer skills (Microsoft Office)

• Knowledge of Lean Principles preferred.

• Lifting ofup to 50lbs.
