Civil Supervisor Main Roads Experience

McCosker Contracting are seeking applications from Civil Construction Supervisor to join our team for a Main Roads Project in Bundaberg Queensland.

• 2 weeks on: 1 week off
• Fly in Fly out or DIDO option
• Meals accommodation and flights provided

Reporting to the Project Superintendent these positions will provide effective hands-on supervision of the project workforce to deliver contracted works in accordance with the client program. This role will be responsible for effective management of workers including subcontractors planning and monitoring daily schedule of work regular communication with site leadership and other stakeholders encouraging a positive safety culture and ensuring quality safety and environmental systems are met.

To be successful in the role:

• Experience in supervising civil construction projects
• Knowledge of the civil construction industry
• Extensive experience in supervising workers and performance outcomes effectively
• Extensive experience in civil and concrete works
• Knowledge and experience in the application of Integrated Quality Management and Safety Systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Able to identify analyse and solve technical problems
• Capable of contributing to the development of reporting progress claims and safety documentation
• Qualification / training in Civil Supervision and/or equivalent years of experience
• Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
• General Construction Induction (white card)
