Were looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Business Development to spearhead market expansion and accelerate revenue growth across Malaysia.

This is a high-impact leadership role where youll build and scale a strong partner network lead commercial strategy and shape the growth trajectory of a fast-growing tech-enabled platform.


What Youll Be Leading

Market Expansion & Partner Growth

  • Develop and execute expansion strategies across key markets

  • Identify evaluate and onboard high-value partners

  • Build and sustain a strong scalable partner pipeline


Revenue Growth & Performance

  • Drive topline growth through strategic partnerships

  • Optimise partner performance occupancy and revenue metrics

  • Continuously monitor and enhance commercial outcomes


Commercial Strategy & Negotiation

  • Lead high-impact negotiations pricing and contract structures

  • Align partnerships with long-term business goals

  • Build scalable and sustainable commercial frameworks


Leadership & Team Development

  • Build lead and inspire a high-performing team

  • Set clear KPIs and drive a performance-focused culture

  • Coach and develop team capabilities in strategy and negotiation


Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations marketing product and revenue teams

  • Act as a key bridge between local and regional stakeholders

  • Strengthen relationships with key partners and industry players


Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Analyse market trends competition and customer demand

  • Identify new growth opportunities and untapped segments

  • Deliver strategic insights to senior leadership


What Were Looking For

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing Hospitality or related field (MBA is a plus)

  • 10 years of experience in business development partnerships or sales

  • At least 5 years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams

  • Proven success in market expansion and revenue growth

  • Experience in hospitality travel-tech OTA or marketplace platforms is highly preferred

  • Strong commercial acumen negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced performance-driven environment
