Licensing Specialist

Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Assist with processing both online and paper licensing applications
- Ensure applications comply with relevant statutes and regulations
- Conduct fingerprinting and background checks for applicants
- Update applicants on the status of their applications
- Respond to public inquiries regarding licensing
- Log and track fees and receipts associated with applications
- Prepare materials and minutes for board meetings; attend and assist with meetings
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Work full-time (40 hours/week) on-site downtown in the office (some remote consideration possible)
- Must be adaptable able to learn quickly multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must take direction well prioritize tasks and take ownership of responsibilities
- Immediate availability is preferred; must be available for prompt phone interviews
- No candidates requiring sponsorship; possible contract-to-hire opportunity
- Preferred experience: working with state agencies system migration audits licensing and customer service
- Strong computer skills required
