NICU Consultant

We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated NICU Consultant to join our esteemed medical team in Chennai Tamil Nadu. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for experienced neonatologists to contribute to the highest standards of neonatal care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Provide expert medical care and management for critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Lead and supervise a team of medical professionals including residents fellows nurses and allied health staff.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols and clinical guidelines for neonatal care.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous patient coverage.
• Engage in medical education training and research activities within the department.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients families providing support and clear explanations of treatment plans.

• Medical degree (MD or MS) with completion of a recognized residency program.
• Fellowship training in Neonatology is essential.
• Current valid medical license to practice in India.
• Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 9 years of experience post-fellowship in Neonatology.
• Specialization in neonatology with expertise in pediatric intensive care and critical care for newborns.
• Excellent diagnostic therapeutic and procedural skills in neonatology.
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Proficiency in relevant medical technologies and electronic health record systems.
