Process Technician

Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Process Technician in the White GA area.

Swing Shift: 6:00am 6:30pm OR 6:00pm 6:30am

Pay rate: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Monitoring & Production Control

• Monitor production performance on a shift-by-shift basis.
• Track process data in real time to identify abnormal fluctuations or trends.
• Ensure all production processes operate within defined target parameters.
• Verify compliance with established process standards and production requirements.

Issue Identification & Resolution

• Follow standard procedures to address and remediate production abnormalities.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Process Engineers promptly.
• Execute countermeasures and corrective actions as directed by engineers or leadership.
• Support root cause identification efforts when process deviations occur.

Data Collection & Reporting

• Collect organize and report production and process data per established guidelines.
• Prepare data sets for Process Engineers to support analysis and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of process performance and adjustments.

Engineering Support & Collaboration

• Assist Process Engineers in maintaining process efficiency and improving production yield.
• Adjust process parameters as instructed by engineering or leadership teams.
• Identify standards for new or updated product versions.
• Communicate process status updates to Team Directors and Process Engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance and operations staff.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all SOPs related to process control and equipment operation.
• Maintain strict adherence to environmental health and safety regulations.
• Wear all required PPE including cleanroom gear respirators when required gloves safety glasses and protective footwear.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and compliance with all regulatory standards.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing process engineering or production support.
• Experience with mass production equipment or metrology tools preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate process equipment and interpret production data.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and data entry tools (SQL experience a plus).
• Comfortable working with numerical data charts and performing basic calculations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety quality and environmental compliance standards.
• Ability to wear full PPE for up to 12-hour shifts including respirators when required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with solar cell manufacturing processes.
• Experience in semiconductor display or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
• Prior exposure to cleanroom or ISO-regulated production environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring shift work and extended hours.
• Exposure to chemicals elevated temperatures and production equipment.
• Frequent standing walking and monitoring of production systems.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Required to wear full PPE for extended periods including cleanroom suits respirators gloves and safety equipment.
