About the Role
We are seeking a handson Staff Accountant to support critical daytoday finance operations with a strong emphasis on payroll execution billing support and monthend close activities.
This role is ideal for someone who has personally processed payroll thrives in operational accounting environments and can step in with minimal rampup to support a growing multientity SaaS organization.
What Youll Do
Payroll (Primary Focus)
- Own endtoend payroll processing on a regular cadence
- Administer payroll through ADP (handson processing required)
- Validate payroll inputs deductions bonuses PTO and adjustments
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries including accruals
- Reconcile payroll clearing tax and liability accounts
- Partner closely with HR and Finance on payroll changes and compliance
- Support multistate payroll and payroll tax considerations
Billing & Revenue Support
- Execute recurring billing (monthly quarterly annual cycles)
- Maintain billing schedules and ensure alignment with contract terms
- Support revenue processes including deferred and unbilled revenue
- Partner with contracts and revenue stakeholders to ensure accuracy
MonthEnd & Accounting Support
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and account reviews
- Support audit requests documentation and reporting
- Contribute to process improvements as the function scales
