Job Summary
The Vendor Performance team is a team responsible for driving the strategy for the Vendor Operations team and driving its executions through local and global cross collaboration. Additionally the vendor performance team looks after the performance of the vendors that are restaurants groceries convenience stores pharmacies and other verticals that are on Hungerstation platform. The vendor performance team plays a critical role working with the local and global product and operations teams to build and rollout the best experiences for our ecosystem of vendors customers and riders with focus on vendor operations touchpoints. The vendor performance team steers the efforts of all vendor functions through the analytical approach of decision making while maintaining the strategic alignment with the business.
This is an opportunity for those who enjoy working with numbers spotting trends finding meaning behind data and coming up with actionable insights that would help grow Hungerstation and our partners ecosystems further. It is best suited for someone with high analytical skills able to provide direction/ guidance for the team and other stakeholders help making data-based decisions harness all of the teams talent and steer the direction of the team while cultivating the collective skillset.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Stakeholders Management
Collaborate with and manage business and product stakeholders locally and globally.
Develop good working relationships with key stakeholders influence and attain the requisite buy-in in a structured way
Building relationships with key partners and working closely with these partners to ensure we are driving key agreed performance metrics to ensure a high NPS.
Provide senior management with regular performance reports insights and presentations
Drive Change
Own and drive improvements to the vendor performance metrics such as Vendor Reliability Vendor AvailabilityVendor Timing and Seamless Experiences.
Innovate and take the lead in identifying prioritizing and developing processes that enhance and effectively scale our operations and business increasing growth and conversion.
Drive Vendor Performance Strategy
Build local and global benchmarks on vendor performance and vendor operations performance metrics.
Cascade Hungerstation strategy to the vendor operations division.
Develop overall vendor operations strategy - Optimize vendor performance and constantly look for new opportunities and move fast to execute on them.
Data Driven Decision Making:
Use data driven decision making tools and controlled testing environments to study launch and rollout enhancements to the vendor performance and vendor operations building on market insights & vendor feedback to drive improvements.
Build tools that support the teams to identify gaps in operations and identify opportunities for enhancement.
Customer Centricity:
Obsessed with the partner/vendors experience - our partners are at the core of what we do and we want to support and drive their performance.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in either business engineering or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of Operations Management/ Project management/ Product Management/ or equivalent role.
Experience in a high growth technology based environment or start up environment.
Past experience with vendor operations is an advantage.
High performer with a proven track record of creating impact through data driven decisions. SQL / Big Query / Tableau / Google Studio literacy is highly desirable.
Excellent English communication skills both written and spoken.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to senior leadership.
