About the Role:
Royal London Irelandis seeking applications for an Underwriting Administrator to join our team in Dublin.
Reporting to the Team Leader you will play a key role in providing excellent efficient and professional service to our brokers. The team is responsible for ensuring all medical underwriting requirements are issued in an accurate and timely manner.
Key responsibilities
The Underwriting Administrator role is to provide administrative support to our underwriting team by issuing all underwriting requirements to GPs clients and third-party providers. The Underwriting Administrator ensures all email and outgoing correspondence is issued in a timely and accurate manner.
- Experience in an administration role
- Capable of resolving general broker or GP queries in relation to our underwriting requirements
- Completion of Computer-based training (CBTs) in line with group policies
- Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

- High level of accuracy with regard to documentation produced and information given to brokers and GPs
- Courteous professional telephone manner offering a high level of customer service both to internal and external customers

- Clear and effective communication with approachable and helpful demeanour.
- Proactive and capable of independence in seeking daily workload and ensuring work is to the highest standard.
- Multi-tasking through a number of different tasks as they arise.
- Have the ability to work from home with full broadband capability in adherence to our Hybrid policy
- Understand the importance teamwork plays in achieving a common goal for our brokers and the business.
Regulatory and Statutory Responsibilities
- Adherence to Data Protection and GDPR principles.
- Completion of all mandatory eLearning and compliance training.

- This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office.
