Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an outpatient rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will provide evaluation and treatment services to adult patients with speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate diagnose and treat speech language cognitive and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy services in an outpatient setting primarily for adult patients
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary rehab teams
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1518 months of recent Speech Therapy experience
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Georgia SLP License (required)
- CCC-SLP Certification (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with adult patients in a medical setting
- Knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and related regulations
Work Environment
- Outpatient Rehabilitation Department
- Focus on adult patient population
- Collaborative multidisciplinary therapy setting
