Position: Project & Control Officer (Mechanical / Industrial)
Location: Pickering ON (On-site)
Structure: Contract 24 months to start
Pay:$70.00 - $78.00 p/h inc. HST

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Energy Sector clients in a contract capacity!

Deliverables

• Coordinate and drive Front End Planning activities including project scoping WBS development estimating scheduling and business case support.
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules budgets and forecasts ensuring alignment across project control and financial systems.
• Monitor and control project performance through weekly updates variance analysis reporting and recommendation of corrective actions.
• Manage change control processes maintain baseline integrity and support cost and schedule quality through accurate forecasting reconciliation and reporting.

Experience Required

• 58 years of experience in project controls project planning or project management within complex engineering or infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience in scheduling cost control forecasting variance analysis and change management processes.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules using tools such as Primavera P6.
• Advanced proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel with experience in project control systems considered an asset.
• Experience working with enterprise project control platforms such as EcoSys considered an asset along with strong analytical and stakeholder coordination skills.
