Summary
This role is responsible for promoting and selling company products to existing customers through direct contact within an assigned geographic territory. The Turf Sales Rep provides customers with pricing product delivery and service information while building strong longterm relationships. The role also focuses on identifying prospective customers developing new accounts and monitoring competitive activity. Work is independently planned and organized including scheduling sales calls and submitting regular sales activity reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Researches analyzes and reports on competitors products pricing and sales practices to senior sales team members.
- This role is expected to consistently gather analyze and share relevant market intelligence.
- Works primarily within an assigned geographic territory to grow sales with an established customer base managing moderately complex sales accounts and transactions.
- Independently develops new sales opportunities and accounts within and beyond the designated sales territory by identifying customer needs and aligning Simplot solutions.
