Job Summary
Looking for experienced Support Engineers in the Western Cape who are confident in managing and supporting IT infrastructure as well as providing hands-on technical support. This is ideal for professionals who enjoy problem-solving working directly with users and ensuring minimal downtime across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Education:
- Provide second and third line technical support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware software and network-related issues
- Install configure and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
- Ensure system uptime performance and security best practices
- Escalate complex issues where necessary and follow through to resolution
Education:
- Relevant IT qualification
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certification is essential
- Minimum of 35 years experience in a Support Engineer or similar role
- Proven experience supporting Windows environments and network infrastructure
- Experience with on-site and remote user support
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server Active Directory Office 365)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Based in the Western Cape or open to opportunities within the region
