Mechanic Trainee (2nd Shift)

What Youll Be Doing

• Assist with troubleshooting inspecting and maintaining mechanical equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• Perform basic repairs and component replacements under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
• Support routine preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
• Learn to safely use tools equipment and diagnostic instruments required for mechanical work.
• Participate in shift handoffs safety checks and housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level.
