Overview
We are seeking a experienced Main Line Automotive Technicians for our Bob Howard Edmond/OKC locations.
In this role you will need to becapable of independently diagnosing repairing and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems. This role is intended for technicians who have run their own bay (or multiple bays) manage workflow independently and are comfortable performing complex diagnostics and major repairs in a fastpaced shop environment.
This position is not entrylevel and is best suited for technicians with proven handson experience beyond routine maintenance services.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex automotive systems including engine transmission drivability electrical HVAC suspension and braking systems
Perform advanced diagnostics using professional scan tools and testing equipment
Independently manage assigned bay(s) repair orders and workflow
Accurately document diagnostics repair recommendations and completed work
Collaborate with service advisors to explain repair needs and timelines
Maintain productivity and quality in a flatrate or performancebased environment
Adhere to shop safety procedures and maintain a clean organized workspace
Qualifications
This position requires prior experience performing diagnostics and major repairs on OEM dealership vehicles and is not an entrylevel or maintenanceonly role
Minimum 35 years of professional automotive repair experience
Proven experience running your own bay independently (multibay experience a plus)
Ability to diagnose issues without stepbystep supervision
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and drivability diagnostics
Must own professionalgrade tools necessary for main line work
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
