About Our Client

Our client is an established Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions across Nigeria and other African markets. Their Nigeria operation serves a diverse client base spanning government financial institutions and enterprise organisations. They are seeking a commercially-minded Account Manager to drive growth and deepen client relationships in the region.

The Role

This Account Manager will oversee client relationships across Nigeria with a primary focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will manage existing accounts identify and convert new business opportunities and represent the organisation as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity solutions.

This role reports to Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients across Nigeria

  • Diagnose client security requirements and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions

  • Drive revenue through new client acquisition opportunity identification and consultative upselling

  • Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain a current understanding of local cybersecurity trends and regulatory developments

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery

Candidate Profile

  • 35 years of experience in account management business development or sales within IT telecommunications or cybersecurity

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity services and the Nigerian enterprise market

  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets

  • Proactive ethical adaptable and a strong communicator capable of managing complex client relationships


Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field

  • Professional certifications in sales account management or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g. ITIL CompTIA Security Certified Sales Professional CISSP)

Experience

  • 35 years of progressive experience in account management business development or B2B sales

  • Experience within the IT telecommunications or cybersecurity industry is preferred

  • Demonstrated track record of managing client portfolios and achieving or exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience selling to government institutions financial services organisations or enterprise clients is a strong advantage

  • Familiarity with the Nigerian regulatory environment and business landscape

  • Experience navigating complex multi-stakeholder client relationships

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions (managed security threat detection incident response compliance vulnerability assessment)

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce HubSpot Zoho CRM or equivalent)

  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and Google Workspace

  • Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality client presentations proposals and reports

  • Understanding of Nigerias cybersecurity regulatory framework (NDPR Cybercrimes Act) is an advantage

Location Requirement

  • Based in Abuja Nigeria

  • Ability to travel within Nigeria for client meetings and industry events

  • Occasional regional travel within West Africa may be required



Benefits

Compensation

  • Gross monthly salary: NGN.30

  • Net monthly salary: NGN 800000.00

  • Commission: 1.5% on total deal value
