About Our Client
Our client is an established Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions across Nigeria and other African markets. Their Nigeria operation serves a diverse client base spanning government financial institutions and enterprise organisations. They are seeking a commercially-minded Account Manager to drive growth and deepen client relationships in the region.
The Role
This Account Manager will oversee client relationships across Nigeria with a primary focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction. You will manage existing accounts identify and convert new business opportunities and represent the organisation as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity solutions.
This role reports to Management.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients across Nigeria
Diagnose client security requirements and propose tailored cybersecurity solutions
Drive revenue through new client acquisition opportunity identification and consultative upselling
Represent the organisation at industry events and maintain a current understanding of local cybersecurity trends and regulatory developments
Partner with internal teams to ensure consistent high-quality service delivery
Candidate Profile
35 years of experience in account management business development or sales within IT telecommunications or cybersecurity
Solid understanding of cybersecurity services and the Nigerian enterprise market
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Proactive ethical adaptable and a strong communicator capable of managing complex client relationships
Requirements
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field
Professional certifications in sales account management or cybersecurity are an advantage (e.g. ITIL CompTIA Security Certified Sales Professional CISSP)
Experience
35 years of progressive experience in account management business development or B2B sales
Experience within the IT telecommunications or cybersecurity industry is preferred
Demonstrated track record of managing client portfolios and achieving or exceeding revenue targets
Experience selling to government institutions financial services organisations or enterprise clients is a strong advantage
Familiarity with the Nigerian regulatory environment and business landscape
Experience navigating complex multi-stakeholder client relationships
Technical Skills
Working knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions (managed security threat detection incident response compliance vulnerability assessment)
Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce HubSpot Zoho CRM or equivalent)
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word) and Google Workspace
Ability to prepare and deliver high-quality client presentations proposals and reports
Understanding of Nigerias cybersecurity regulatory framework (NDPR Cybercrimes Act) is an advantage

Benefits
Compensation
Gross monthly salary: NGN.30
Net monthly salary: NGN 800000.00
Commission: 1.5% on total deal value
