THE OPPORTUNITYWe have an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join our award-winning firm in the Vancouver YOULL DOReporting to the Manager Business Solutions the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will help build our technology capabilities bringing business and data solutions to support the continued growth of our investment management business. The BSA will work closely with business units functional leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify develop and deploy data and business role will focus on supporting Investment Advisors and Operations teams in achieving their goals using multiple technology platforms. The BSA will also be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration support maintenance and improvement of our role requires the successful candidate to work onsite in the Vancouver office five days per and Technical AnalysisLead initiatives and engage business and technology teams to discover business needs and analyze document design test and deliver technology solutions to complex business challengesContinuously engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders SMEs and end-users to understand and document their business processes requirements and objectivesFacilitate the evaluation of requests and requirements and explain their feasibility to internal teamsVendor ManagementWork with vendors and project teams to ensure that the configured solution meets business and user needsQuality AssuranceCreate and execute test plansActively participate in the overall testing and troubleshooting of new and enhanced functionsParticipate in the change management process by communicating technical impacts of changesCOMPETENCIESAnalysis Assess quantitative and qualitative data information or situations to understand the most important details identify patterns or meaning and translate it into useful recommendations decisions or actionsRequirements Gathering Discover identify document and validate business needs to inform system or vendor selection solution development and/or project planningChange Management Create strategies plans and solutions that guide people and teams through change to ensure smooth transitions buy-in and sustained outcomesConsulting Conduct discovery plan and design solutions implement strategies and provide advice to stakeholders within the firm to solve challenges achieve target state and/or improve performanceProcess Improvement and Documentation Uncover understand document optimize and communicate processes to make them more efficient effective and consistentProject Management Plan coordinate execute and oversee projects balancing time resources and scope to achieve objectives support stakeholders and meet deadlinesKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 years experience as a Business Systems Analyst working with internal clients preferably in the financial (investment management) industryExperience designing and implementing Microsoft Copilot-based solutionsExperience with implementing configuring and managing the Microsoft 365 Enterprise suite of applications including SharePoint Online and Microsoft TeamsExperience in managing the configuration deployment and support of low-code solutions in Power Automate and Power AppsSolid understanding of web technologies including content management systems and web analytics toolsAbility to conduct impact assessments of new requirements on upstream and downstream applications systems and processesDemonstrated experience in data analysis including proficiency with SQLExcellent time management and prioritization skills with a can-do attitudeExceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organizationExperience with Broadridges Dataphile Salesforce and DocuSign is an assetExperience with custom web development and software development is an assetExperience with SQL Server administration and development as well as report development using SQL Server Reporting Services is an assetWHAT WE OFFERA culture of openness collaboration and respect is foundational to our firm.
