Location: Travelers Rest SC
Shift: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (19:00 07:30)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. This role involves caring for medically complex adult patients including those requiring ventilator weaning wound care and specialized nursing interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to LTAC patients
- Manage patients with tracheostomies PEG tubes and complex medical conditions
- Assist with ventilator weaning and respiratory care
- Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
- Administer medications and treatments using electronic systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Float between units as needed based on patient census
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum experience in LTAC or related specialty preferred
- At least 1 year of Epic experience required
- Experience with Omnicell medication system preferred
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
