JOB SUMMARY
The Permanent Substitute will work in the absence of a regular scheduled Food and Nutrition Services employees. Assignments will be made by the Supervisor of Food and Nutrition Services. Start and end times will vary. Shifts will include but not limited to: Utility & Production for Satellite and Secondary schools and the Nutrition Center.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Promote good working relationships with other school employees and the public
- Interact with co-workers administration parents and the community in a positive supportive and cooperative way
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Food and Nutrition Services
QUALIFICATIONS
Special Qualifications:
- Must have access to a working telephone or mobile phone to receive work-related communications and respond in a timely manner
- Must have access to reliable transportation to travel between district sites as needed.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and efficiently completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Must be able to accurately maintain ordering and inventory records
- Must be able to interact with scholars and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to participate as a member of a team
- Ability to work in a diverse environment
