Leasing Specialist

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced leasing agent to join their team at (1) of their properties in Minneapolis MN (55419). The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years experience in residential leasing. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills customer service skills and attention to detail. This role is contract to hire (90 days before conversion).

This role will be working with (1) community with 176 market rate units.

Pay: $18-$22/hour DOQ.

Schedule: Tuesday Friday 9AM 6PM and Saturday 10AM 5PM.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

Leasing & Sales

• Show lease and welcome prospective residents to the property.
• Assist in completing market surveys and executing marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
• Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
• Guide residents through move-in ensuring a smooth experience.

Resident Experience & Service

• Provide superior customer service responding promptly and professionally to resident inquiries or concerns.
• Process maintenance requests and work with the team to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain resident files with completeness and accuracy.

Operational & Administrative Performance

• Maintain daily updates of unit availability and community calendars.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure all units meet move-in ready standards.
• Support property management with administrative duties phone support and other tasks as needed.
• Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
• Handle resident collections in accordance with standards.

• Customer Focus: Passion for providing a high-quality personalized experience for residents.
• Sales Drive: Consistently achieve leasing objectives while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
• Organization & Efficiency: Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize wisely and maintain accurate records.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with residents prospects and the team.
• Problem Solving: Able to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts constructively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 years experience in residential leasing.
• Strong organizational skills customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task/meet deadlines.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check before employment.
