Job Summary
Health Safety and Environmental Specialist located in Midland TX supports all aspects of HSE compliance sustaining safety strategies by identifying and analyzing occupational hazards and applying professional HSE safety knowledge skills and abilities. Experience: 7-10 Years Wireline Oil & Gas HSE Field Experience Required.
Education: Bachelors Degree in HSE preferred. Consideration given to an Associate HSE Degree with CSP Certification from an accredited institution.
- Communicate HSE regulations as applied to the Wireline Oil & Gas Industry.
- HSE Wireline Explosive Radiation and HazMat experience required.
- Extensive knowledge in BATFE ISO NCMS ISNet World and OSHA.
- Maintain OSHA Explosives Radiation PPE DOT/Non-DOT and Environmental inspections and logs.
- Leadership management to meet OSHA DOT and Non-DOT compliance.
- Evaluate Occupational Safety policies and guidelines recommending modifications.
- Administer risk management techniques.
- Develop safety policies and guidelines for loss prevention and risk control.
- Conduct safety meetings; OSHA and HSE compliance training.
- Full-time10/4 rotating schedule 24-hour on-call nights/weekends may be required.
- Provide guidance and regulatory interpretations with development programs recommending improvements in the processes design procedures and operating equipment to minimize hazardous potentials.
- Conduct incident investigations to find corrective actions for Near Misses and Root Causes.
- Manage field safety operations. Conduct field reviews supporting safety performance as an essential part of the day-to-day operations.
- Overnight travel may be required.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel Work PowerPoint and HSE Databases.
- English (Bilingual a plus).
