The Digital Content Creator supports the development and delivery of high-quality visual content that enhances brand presence and engages audiences across digital platforms. The role focuses on executing creative concepts aligned with established brand standards and current digital trends. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams the position contributes to the implementation of campaigns and content initiatives. Emphasis is placed on producing engaging accessible and inclusive content that reflects organizational priorities.

In this role you will:

  • Collaborate with Marketing and CommunicationsPrograms anddesign teams to develop content briefs and creative concepts for compelling inclusive and engaging visual storytelling.
  • Ensure all content aligns with YMCA brand identity and visual standards.
  • Audit and review existing video and photo libraries toidentifyhigh-value opportunities for reuse.
  • Plan capture and edit high-quality video and photography content for digital platforms (social web etc.).
  • Produce short-form videosoptimizedfor Facebook and Instagram Reels TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Adapt andoptimizecontent for multiple platforms and formats.
  • Edit and repurpose legacy content into new campaign-ready assets.
  • Deliver final publish-ready assets aligned to campaign timelines andobjectives.
  • Capture the energy tone and voice of YMCA of Greater Toronto from participant experiences and program highlights to events.
  • Ensure all contentcomplies withcopyright and YMCA photo and video consent policies.
  • Tag andmaintaindigital assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

                        You bring:

                        • Post-secondary education in media film communications or a related fieldor equivalent experience.
                        • 1 to 2 years of experience working with videography photography and video and photo editing (portfoliorequired).
                        • Experience creating content for lifestyle community or nonprofit organizations is an asset.
                        • Proficiencyin Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro Lightroom; AfterEffectsan asset).
                        • Adobe Photoshop and drone videography experience would be an asset.
                        • Strong understanding of current trends on Instagram TikTok and YouTube.Strong storytelling composition and visual editing skills.
                        • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver content efficiently.
                        • Flexibility towork hours including days evenings and weekends.
                        • Ability to travel across the GTA.
                        • Valid drivers licence is an asset.
