Are you a veterinary student looking for a hands-on externship experience just outside one of the greatest cities in the world Join us at LePar Animal Hospital in Evergreen Park IL just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago!

This opportunity is open to students currently enrolled in a DVM program.
(Undergraduates interested in veterinary medicine are welcome to inquire about shadow days.)

About Us

LePar Animal Hospital is a well-established 9-doctor small animal practice combining high-quality conventional medicine with holistic options like acupuncture chiropractic and regenerative therapies. We offer:

About the Externship

This isnt just shadowing its a real-world immersive experience. Youll work closely with our doctors on:

• Routine and complex cases
• Surgical procedures (scrub in opportunities!)
• Treatment plans and client communication
• Case discussions and collaborative learning

With 84 combined years of veterinary experience among our doctors were here to teach guide and support you every step of the way.
