Job Summary

The Teacher Instructional Math Coach will support high school teachers in improving mathematics instruction increasing student achievement and strengthening rigorous teaching practices aligned to district and state expectations.

Responsibilities Include:

Provide coaching and support to Math teaches through modeling co-teaching classroom support and feedback.
Support implementation of Algebra I Geometry Algebra II and advanced mathematics curriculum aligned to state standards
Assist teachers in strengthening problem-solving reasoning discourse and conceptual and understanding.
Analyze assessment data to guide instructional planning.
Facilitate PLCs common planning professional development sessions and data meetings
Support tutoring intervention acceleration and graduation readiness programs.
Assist teachers with pacing lesson planning and differentiation strategies.
Promote student engagement and achievement in mathematics.
