• Lead and manage a team of forensic investigation experts to conduct comprehensive investigations into financial fraud corruption embezzlement and cybercrime.
• Develop and implement effective fraud prevention strategies including data mining intelligence gathering and fraud awareness campaigns.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies while conducting investigations maintaining independence and objectivity.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies prosecution authorities and senior management to ensure thorough and timely investigations.
• Oversee and report forensic investigation outcomes to the Head of Internal Audit and the companys Ethics Committee ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Establish and manage a case management system for efficient oversight and reporting of forensic investigations.
• Identify and address control deficiencies identified during investigations to mitigate risks and uphold ethical standards.
• Maintain high standards for investigation reports to support internal disciplinary hearings and court proceedings.
• Manage functional excellence initiatives by standardizing and optimizing processes and promoting the sharing of best practices.
• Ensure adherence to Group governance policies and statutory compliance fostering a culture of discipline and integrity.

• Bachelors Degree (Honors) in a relevant field (Essential/Minimum)
• 10 years of demonstrable experience in forensic investigations and audit with a proven track record of managing complex investigations in a corporate environment
• Experience in the mining industry is preferred
• At least 5 years in a managerial position
• Strong operational exposure to fraud prevention and detection
• Exceptional knowledge of forensic accounting techniques investigative methodologies and criminal procedures
• Membership with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (Essential/Minimum)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
