We are seeking an experienced Cost & Management Accountant to manage cost accounting reporting and analysis within a manufacturing PLC environment. The role involves standard costing variance analysis inventory control and providing accurate financial insights to support decision-making and profitability.
Experience in manufacturing cost accounting is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end cost accounting processes including standard costing product costing and overhead absorption
- Maintain and monitor accurate cost structures across raw materials labor and production overheads
- Perform detailed variance analysis (material labor overhead and production efficiency) with clear explanations and recommendations
- Oversee inventory valuation and control (raw materials work-in-progress finished goods)
- Analyze production costs SKU profitability and cost drivers to support margin improvement
- Prepare and present management accounts cost reports and performance dashboards
- Support budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning processes
- Drive cost optimization initiatives across the manufacturing value chain
- Ensure compliance with IFRS internal controls and reporting standards
- Support management with financial insights for pricing planning and operational decisions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Professional certification (ICAN ACCA or equivalent) is required
- Minimum of 58 years strong experience in cost and management accounting within a manufacturing PLC environment
- Expertise in standard costing variance analysis and inventory accounting
- Hands-on experience in factory/production cost control is essential
- Experience in FMCG or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Ability to analyze complex financial and production data
