The IPH Group is committed to promoting and maintaining a workplace culture of shared respect across companies to enable us all to feel valued and be the best we can & Biggar is currently looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our National Finance role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in the A/R function who thrives in a fast-paced high-volume environment and is committed to accuracy compliance and exceptional client role will fill an existing incoming wires cheques and credit card payments; post payments to client accounts including trust accountsResolve unallocated payments and unposted paymentsCorrespond with clients regarding payment discrepancies and missing detailsRespond to client inquires regarding their accounts receivable statement requests invoice copies and general A/R supportInvestigate and reconcile credits on client accounts and arrange for refunds as appropriatePrepare statements of account forward to clientsProcess trustrelated activities including disbursements receipts and refundsEnsure trust transactions are handled accurately and in compliance with internal policies and applicable regulationsCollaborate with manager and colleagues to improve existing procedures and gain efficienciesEstablish and maintain effective cooperate working relationships with colleaguesOther duties necessary to support the Finance team as assignedQualifications competencies and and/or finance education710 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable cash application or general accountingHigh proficiency with MS office familiarity with Elite 3E is a plusAble to multitask and work in a fast-paced high-volume environmentGreat attention to detail highly motivated and proactiveProficiency in French and English base salary for this role will be positioned between $60000 - $70000 taking into consideration factors such as locationjob-related knowledgeprior experience qualifications and internal equity.--Our recruitment process uses AI-enabled tools to assist with the assessment of applications based on job-related criteria.
