AbouttheRole

We are looking for a Product Manager tojoinand drive the COMETplatform Maersks container event tracking and monitoring platform. COMET is a criticaldatacapability in ourlogisticsecosystem providing real-time visibility into container events across the end-to-endTransported by Maersklogisticschain. The PM will define product strategy drive execution with cross-functional teams and ensure COMET delivers measurablecustomer and businessvalue to internal operations and external customers.

This role sits within the Cargo TransportOptimisationteamoperatingin a large matrixorganisation. You will work closely with engineering data operations and commercial stakeholders to translate complexlogisticsdomain problems into scalable user-centric product solutions.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Own theassignedcomponentofCOMET product vision strategy andproductroadmap aligned with the broader Cargo TransportOptimisationportfolio and Maerskslogisticsstrategy.
  • Defineprioritise andmaintaina well-groomed product backlog in close collaboration withSubject Matter Experts Business Reference groupengineering and design balancing business value technical feasibility and user impact.
  • Drive discovery and delivery cyclesfor COMET MVP and sequential product releases and enhancements: conduct stakeholder interviews map user journeys define hypotheses andvalidatesolutions through data-driven experimentationto gradually replace our legacy tracking platform.
  • Ensure high-quality reliable container event data flows across systems covering milestones such as gate-in/gate-out vessel load/discharge railbargeand inland haulage events.
  • Define and monitor product KPIs including event accuracy latency coverage and downstream operationalEvent Edit Processes by data to informprioritisationand communicateproductprogressto ensure product alignment and transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering dataplatform operations CXFinanceandcommercialto ensure alignment and remove blockers.
  • Manage stakeholder communication across a senior leadership audience: run steering committees produce concise status updates and proactively escalate risks.
  • Drive integration requirements with internal consumers ( planning transport execution systems/TMS Customer billing platforms Data Analytics tools) and externalfacing applications such as customer web services.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement user-centricity outcome-orientation and can-do attitudewithin the product team.
  • Contribute to team rituals and ways of working including sprint planning retrospectives and cross-team alignment.

Qualifications&Experience

  • 7 years of product management experience in a technology-drivenorganisation;logistics supply chain or maritime domain experience is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and shippingcomplex dataproducts end-to-end from discovery and definition through delivery and iteration.
  • Strong analytical skills: comfortable working with event data defining metrics running queries and using data to drive decisions.
  • Experienceoperatingin large matrixedorganisationswith complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Excellent communication skills: able to translate technical complexity into clear compelling narratives forbusiness usersengineeringand leadership audiences.
  • Familiarity withlogisticsevent-driven architectures data pipelinessystemintegrationsandAI-drivendatasets optimizationis a plus.
  • Experience with agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban) and modern product tooling (Jira Confluence Miro analytics platforms).
  • Bachelors orMasters degree in Computer Science Engineering Business ora relatedfield.
