Whats the role

As a Product Owner this role supports the Credit Cards Line of Business to deliver priority changes across the Credit Card product suite ensuring products meet customer expectations revenue objectives and return targets while remaining competitive. Success is measured through delivery of the consumer cards commercial strategy ownership of initiative business cases defined delivery plans and providing clear business direction to ensure outcomes align with organisational goals OKRs and KPIs.

Additionally youll own commercial development for consumer product changes including business model creation stakeholder engagement and securing business buy in. You will assess market conditions competitors and internal capabilities identify risks resolve product decisions and act as a trusted SME. This role bridges strategy and execution shaping scope solutioning and guiding cross functional teams through delivery and launch.

You will partner with delivery teams to define requirements review designs support governance drive approvals collaborate cross functionally and ensure smooth BAU transition through processes and handover.

What do I need

  • Strong product management experience within banking or financial services ideally in consumer cards or credit card products.
  • Proven ability to partner with both business and delivery stakeholders acting as a bridge between them.
  • Demonstrated track record delivering complex initiatives in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong capability in preparing executivelevel reports presentations and strategic papers for approval.
  • Experience documenting business strategy and papers to support largescale change initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
