Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Atlanta GA
Type: Contract
Shift: Night
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse - Emergency Department for an exciting Travel or Local job in Atlanta GA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients
- Perform rapid patient assessment and prioritize care based on acuity
- Administer medications treatments and emergency interventions
- Assist in trauma and resuscitation procedures
- Monitor patient condition and respond to critical changes
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary ED team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Ensure patient safety in a high-volume emergency setting
- Support trauma care and stabilization of critically ill patients
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ED experience
- Experience in large facility ED required; Level I Trauma preferred
- Active RN license (GA or compact)
- BLS ACLS and PALS required
- TNCC and ENPC preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
