Job Summary
Position Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Hyannis MA
Type: Contract
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new patients and establish measurable treatment goals
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess muscle nerve joint and functional abilities
- Administer therapeutic treatments and adjust plans based on patient progress
- Document patient care progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and care plans
- Collaborate with medical and allied health teams for patient care and discharge planning
- Provide guidance to PT Assistants aides and students
- Maintain compliance with safety infection control and departmental policies
- Participate in meetings training and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
- BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform clinical documentation and patient evaluations
Preferred:
- Clinical Specialist certification (if applicable)
- Experience mentoring or supervising staff/students
- Prior experience in rehab or acute care settings
