Working Pattern:Typically 5 days in the office with core hours flexible between 8am-6pm.

The Role

With our online Branded business constantly growing Total Platform continuing to strengthen and our retail stores remaining distinguished for our customer base our buyers have a big responsibility to create attractive and profitable product ranges across the business. Collaborating with many key stakeholders to make this happen.

What Youll Take On

The role involves developing commercially successful product ranges by taking the lead to build a departmental strategy. You will be responsible for selecting the best product by building strong relationships with brand partners displaying excellent trend insight & market awareness and by analysing data to plan across all categories. Collaboration with merchandisers operations team and marketing is key to this process.

You will be required to interpret sales data and trends to quickly identify new opportunities. You will also be responsible for spotting and recruiting the best brands.

Effectively manage your team by delegating resources and workload ensuring team members stay motivated and focused. Collaboration within the business and cross departmentally to achieve results is essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Womenswear Buyer to join the Brands department at Next. This team is full of industry experts who live and breath all things Premium and Lifestyle and have years of experience in the industry!

We are looking for an ambitious individual who can drive departmental growth through seeing opportunities and creative solutions. Additionally you will be responsible for planning and buying the product delivering agreed KPIs for sales markdown and profit.
