The Opportunity
In this role you will support the High Voltage Service business by managing the quotation and tendering process for High Voltage breaker field services. Your work focuses on translating customer technical and commercial requirements into accurate compliant and well-structured service quotations. You will review requests for quotation study scope and conditions and coordinate inputs across engineering services factories and internal stakeholders to develop proposals that are executable and clearly defined. The role includes working directly with customers during the quotation phase to clarify scope timelines and commercial terms while helping ensure a smooth transition from awarded quote to order execution. Through careful attention to detail pricing structure and service scope definition your work contributes to the reliability safety and long-term performance of critical power grid infrastructure.
How Youll Make an Impact
Create update and manage service-related sales opportunities within CRM platforms.
Review RFQs and tender documentation to identify gaps risks and required clarifications.
Define proposal schedules and key milestones including coordination of deadline extensions when required.
Collaborate with engineering services and internal partners to develop compliant service proposals.
Study customer technical and commercial requirements and coordinate inputs from factories and suppliers.
Support customer clarification discussions to confirm scope technical requirements and commercial conditions.
Develop pricing approaches and prepare complete quotation packages aligned with internal guidelines.
Respond to customer feedback and revise offers based on technical or commercial input.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
College or university degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tendering and proposal preparation for electrical components or systems.
Sound technical knowledge of power systems and high voltage equipment.
Experience working with CRM platforms and business intelligence tools.
Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
