What Youll Do

• Provide skilled personal care including bathing grooming dressing and toileting
• Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment
• Support clients living with Alzheimers dementia and other cognitive conditions using person-centered dignity-first techniques
• Assist with meal preparation medication reminders and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to your care team and supervisors
• Offer genuine companionship and emotional support that honors each clients individuality and independence

What Were Looking For

• 2 years of in-home caregiving or similar hands-on experience
• Valid California Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration
• Demonstrated experience with transfers lifts and safe mobility assistance
• Experience supporting clients with dementia or Alzheimers (strongly preferred)
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start)
• Reliable transportation and valid California drivers license
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain before start)
• A warm patient and professional communication style with clients and families
