Tool Maker IIReports-Tooling ManagerPerform advanced mold making repair and modification work with minimal supervision. Support production and engineering by independently executing complex machining troubleshooting mold performance issues and mentoring junior team members. Operate a wide range of tool room equipment including CNC EDM and highprecision manual machines to ensure highquality mold performance and adherence to customer new molds and components per customer specifications with minimal advanced repairs modifications and refurbishments on existing injection set up program and operate CNC machining centers EDM sinkers and WEDM fixtures jigs and auxiliary tooling to support production complex blueprints CAD models and engineering mold performance issues and recommend corrective part accuracy using precision inspection equipment and all work meets quality dimensional and functional in design reviews and kickoff meetings providing technical input to improve schedule and prioritize work to meet quoted hours and delivery machining plans prints and instructions for helpers or work performed and communicate followup actions needed for mold assembly or School education or equivalentCompletion of a statecertified mold making apprenticeship degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred but not 7 years of mold making experience including complex mold builds.5 years of tool room machining experience troubleshooting injection molding ability to work independently on advanced tooling Skills and AbilitiesStrong mechanical aptitude and advanced problemsolving in mold design theory and mold material math skills including geometry and to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use pneumatic and power knowledge of inspection equipment and measurement literacy for interoffice communication and job with Makino CNC and Charmilles Wire EDM equipment is a CNC programming skills (Vero SOLIDWORKS or equivalent).Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.#INDHP
