Conveyor Belt Field Crew Heavy Industrial

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Conveyor Belt Field Crew member for our client in Salt Lake City UT an industrial conveyor systems company supporting industries such as mining aggregate and pulp and paper. This is a field-based role focused on installation maintenance and repair of conveyor belt systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on dependable and comfortable working in physically demanding environments with experience using tools solving mechanical problems and working as part of a team in the field.

Pay & Schedule
Pay: $25$32/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-time OT depending on business needs
Travel: Approximately 90% field work and 10% local/shop support including occasional overnight travel with per diem

Key Responsibilities
Perform installation removal and replacement of conveyor belting systems in field environments
Execute or assist with belt splicing using vulcanized and cold bond methods including lap finger and steel cable splices
Perform pulley lagging belt alignment and system adjustments to ensure proper operation
Troubleshoot and repair conveyor systems and related mechanical components
Work independently or as part of a crew on field service jobs
Operate safely around moving machinery and follow all safety procedures including PPE
Work in a variety of industrial environments including mines aggregate sites and pulp and paper facilities
Work at heights and in physically demanding conditions as required

Required Qualifications
Experience in physically demanding hands-on work environments such as construction concrete masonry wildland firefighting industrial labor or similar trades
Strong mechanical background (millwright industrial maintenance construction agricultural or similar hands-on experience)
Proven reliability strong work ethic and ability to work long hours when needed
Experience working with tools and equipment in outdoor or industrial settings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Ability to perform physical work including standing walking bending crouching and climbing
Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial environments
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced field-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with conveyor systems belt installation or industrial maintenance
Experience with vulcanized or cold bond splicing methods
Field service experience in mining aggregate or heavy industrial environments
Millwright or mechanical maintenance background

Work Environment
