As a Product Manager in Payments - Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground you guide the successful launch of products gather crucial feedback and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability resiliency and stability you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Owns maintains and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the products key success metrics such as cost feature and functionality risk posture and reliability
- Establish oneself as the subjectmatter expert in Remote Deposit Capture translating market dynamics and client needs into actionable strategy
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and multiyear roadmap that delivers quantifiable customer and commercial outcomes
- Lead discovery and market research; synthesize insights into problem statements solution hypotheses and prioritized requirements
- Define monitor and report key success metrics (e.g. adoption reliability risk posture cost feature utilization) to inform decisionmaking and governance
- Oversee complex client onboarding and manage escalations to ensure consistent highquality client experiences
- Coordinate internal and external communications regarding product updates; maintain comprehensive product and system documentation
- Leads Agile execution in partnership with Technology and Operations including sprint planning backlog refinement and release management
- Cultivates effective partnerships with Operations Technology Implementations Sales and Service to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle design and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value management
- Proven ability to document and verbally communicate concepts and ideas including product requirements in appropriate formats to technology partners as well as all stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capabilities; highly organized and detailoriented; able to operate with minimal supervision
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear testable technical specifications for engineering teams
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
- Deep understanding of receivables and cash application products markets and customer needs
- Familiarity with emerging fintech technologies and receivables industry trends with a track record of integrating relevant advancements into product strategy
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g. Jira Confluence)
- Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients understand their needs and resolve complex issues efficiently
