Job Summary
JOB SUMMARY | The Office of the Vice President of University Advancement seeks a highly skilled current Seton Hall student to support team needs including donor and prospect engagement event support project-based research and writing projects for minimum of 10 15 hours weekly including occasionally evening / weekend events. |
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES | Student will be tasked with high-level research projects support of divisional initiatives and events. Student will work in support of multiple members of the Vice President of University Advancement team. A high level of confidentiality is required. |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS | Up to date in Microsoft suite of tools (SharePoint Word Excel PowerPoint etc.) to produce high-quality documents. Knowledge in creating tables charts and graphs as required. Demonstrated skill in conducting research and writing draft documents in standard English with proper grammar. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely. Strong ability to interact effectively with all levels of the University community as well as outside constituents. Interact cordially and respectfully maintaining confidentiality as required. Detail-oriented good telephone skills dependable and punctual. Knowledge of specific software programs as needed experience with relational databases preferred. Ability to work independently and on project-based work. |
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS | Business/Marketing major or English major preferred. Availability to work during summer months and break periods as needed is desired. Prior experience with relational databases highly preferred. |
