The Opportunity

The School of Earth Atmosphere and Environment is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Technical Manager to lead our technical team and oversee a range of significant and complex technical activities that play a critical role in supporting the delivery of teaching and research program outcomes.

In this role you will provide strategic and daytoday leadership across the Schools technical services ensuring the effective operation of laboratories specialist facilities and technical support functions. You will manage and deliver highlevel professional technical services to support academic staff students and onsite facilities including laboratory and facility operations and ensure a compliant and safe operating environment.

Working closely with the School Manager and the Academic Lab Coordinator you will play a key role in planning coordinating and enhancing technical operations to meet the evolving needs of the Schools teaching and research programs. You will also lead and mentor the technical team fostering a collaborative servicefocused culture and ensuring the consistent delivery of highquality support.
