Position Summary:
The Warehouse Senior Manageris responsible forensuring all aspects of the warehouseoperateefficiently and in compliance with established proceduresandforensuring service excellence to Clinical and Research Labs. The position manages all operational functionsincluding;inbound put away order fulfillment outboundcyclecounts and inventory maintenance in Redwood Citywarehouse to ensure standardized operating procedures arefollowed. This individual willbe responsibleforbuildinghigh performingteams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Management of all operational functionsincluding;inbound put away order fulfillment outboundcyclecountsinventory maintenanceand equipment. Develop/updatestandardized operating procedures.
Manageemployees and contractorsproviding guidance ongoalsdelivery expectations and bringing clarityand resolutionto any potential issues.
Day to Day task and project management driving to execution.
Monitor andmaintaintheinventoryon handfor allwarehouse andlab locations. Managethetransfer of materialsto andfromUnion City and Palo Altowarehouseto Redwood City warehouse.
Activelymonitorand trackallinbound & outboundlogistics followingup with carriers toaddressbottlenecks andensurespeedy delivery of patient samples tolabteams.
Manage annual budgetand cost controlwhile developingannual cost reduction roadmap
Warehouse footprint strategycapacityand scalability planning
Cross functional alignment with Supply Chain Finance Clinical Ops QA and IT
Enforce company policy to be SOX compliant.
Ensure warehouse operationscomply withSOX GMPandmaintainaudit readiness for internal and external audits
Develop/updateSOPs; ensuredirect reports follow established guidelines to produceandaccurateandhigh quality of services in a safe and efficient manner.
Identifydevelop and implementsolutions for operational opportunities and process improvement.
Understandand meet internal and external customers and service level expectations
Develop a culture of collaborationengagementinspire commitment and encourage mutual support.
Drive change in culture towards lean and continuous improvement principles
Provide general and day-to-day supervisionand directiontoSupervisors andMaterial Handling personnel
Own deviation CAPA and NCR governance for warehouse operations
KPI governance and performance dashboard ownership
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
12 years progressive supply chain or warehouse leadership experience
5 years direct people management withmulti siteoversight
BachelorsDegree
Experience in regulated biotech diagnostics or pharma environment
Proven experience leading teams through scale or transformation
Effective verbal and written communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills detail oriented.
Lead ERP/WMS optimization and system enhancements word processing project management etc.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays.
