Blue Matter is hiring for the Technology and Operations Practice within the Blue Matter Insights Team. Our Technology & Operations practice integrates strategy data and AI to deliver scalable technology-enabled solutions for BioPharma Clients. The practice has developed a category-defining platform called Twine an AI-first customer intelligence platform purpose-built for life sciences that is already seeing strong traction in the market.

As a Tech Senior Consultant you will work across Blue Matter as a functional expert playing a key role in identifying analytical solutions to complex client needs with a specialized focus on designing developing and proactively integrating AI-driven solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

As a key member of cross-functional client facing teams develop and execute project plans to support initiatives that include but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement technology solutions to support commercial data and analytics for life sciences companies with an emphasis on AI/ML and Generative AI frameworks
  • Utilize cloud-service providers i.e. AWS Azure or GCP to build scalable solutions.
  • Innovate in product launch analytics drug discovery patient analytics and data operations using Gen AI.
  • Proactively research experiment with and propose new AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for clients and internal processes driving forward the firms AI capabilities.
  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure timely high-quality deliverables providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Query and analyze data in cloud data warehouse solutions to uncover actionable insights.
  • Design advanced dashboards and reports using modern BI/visualization tools for client-ready insights.
  • Investigate MDM processes to resolve issues and meet client needs automate operational process using Gen AI
  • Contribute to Blue Matters Twine platform rollout in client environments.
  • Address client questions gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure project success through effective collaboration and meeting deadlines using agile delivery models.
  • Support internal initiatives focusing on Gen AI and healthcare analytics.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Expertise in data engineering/analytics/Gen AI application development for pharmaceutical datasets.
  • Hands-on experience building AI/ML applications including working with LLMs Generative AI and NLP frameworks.
  • Expertise in SQL Python and relational/cloud databases.
  • Skilled in data warehouse technologies and data pipeline/orchestration tools.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and their core services.
  • Strong knowledge of MDM principles.
  • Familiar with back-end and front-end web technologies.
  • Proficient in API development and version control.
  • Experience with modern BI/reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of US pharma datasets and healthcare concepts (e.g. coverage payment pricing).
  • Strong problem-solving communication and client-facing skills.
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum and project management tools.
  • Ability to translate raw data analysis into impactful client presentations with actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and power point presentation skills (internal and client facing)
  • Genuine passion and curiosity for ongoing AI development with a demonstrated habit of learning and experimenting with new AI tools models and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree(s) (PhD MD MBA or MS)
  • 4 years of quantitative analytical experience 6 years in data engineering/analytics including 2 years in client-facing roles
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate business and industry knowledge in developing creative solutions
  • Active contributions to AI projects open-source AI projects or demonstrated independent study in AI/ML.
  • Passion for Generative AI in life sciences applications
Compensation:
Base salary range: $150000 - $190000 per incentive compensation structure.
