Job Summary
Job Title: Vice President of Technology
Duration: 4-month contract with potential to extend
Location: 100% Onsite in Portland
Schedule: Mon Fri 9AM 5PM PST
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a comprehensive assessment of the current technology environment including systems integrations governance and team structure
- Partner with a third-party advisory firm to develop a 3 5 year technology roadmap aligned with organizational goals
- Evaluate recent enterprise system implementations and integrations to identify optimization opportunities
- Provide executive leadership to internal IT staff contractors and consulting partners
- Oversee technology vendors and integration partners including managing upcoming partner transitions
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology priorities investments and sequencing
- Balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategic initiatives
- Support change management documentation and reporting efforts across departments
- Help define the long-term technology leadership structure and prepare for a permanent executive hire
Qualifications
- 15 years of technology leadership experience (VP CIO or equivalent)
- Proven experience leading technology assessments stabilization efforts and roadmap development
- Strong Salesforce ecosystem experience: nonprofit experience preferred
- Experience with enterprise integrations vendor management and complex environments
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
