What you willdo:
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internshiplocatedinNew Castle Delaware. This internshipis designed to provide you witha positivework/training experience and challengingobjectives.This role will be part of our Fire Protection Sales Team providing services and retrofits for Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Systems in commercial buildings.Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.
How you will do it:
10-12 Week Internship starting 5/26/2026
Operate under direct supervision from local and/or area sales manager
Participate in market research leaddevelopmentand appointment setting
Interact with sales team field service team and directly with customers
Perform other duties/projects as assigned
What we look for
RequiredQualifications:
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
Pursuing a degree inBusiness or Engineering
Currently aJunior or Seniorstatus
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently
Strong communicationskills (verbal and written) preferred
Demonstrated problem solving skillsrequired
Ability to work effectively in a high energetic and multiple-engagement environment dedication to teamwork a strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
Strong technicalproficiencyin Teams Excel PowerPoint and other Microsoft products
Ideal candidate will have an interest in learning about the Fire Protection industry and consultative selling
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.00 - $24.00 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledgeskills and abilities of the applicant internal equity location and alignment with market data.)
