Position Summary
The Applications Sales Engineer serves as the critical technical and commercial interface between customers engineering and sales. This role combines deep expertise in and nbsp;electronics aerospace/space systems and radiation-hardened (radiation-hard) technologies and nbsp;with customer-facing engagement.
You will drive business growth by developing technical solutions supporting proposals and ensuring our and nbsp;electronic components and subsystems and nbsp;align with evolving customer requirements in demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and amp; Sales Support
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for customers across pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Develop and present technical solutions proposals and product configurations
  • Lead and support customer meetings design reviews and technical discussions
  • Identify customer requirements and position solutions in and nbsp;aerospace space and high-reliability electronics applications
  • Contribute to win strategies capture planning and pricing inputs
  • Build strong relationships with customer engineering program and procurement teams

Technical Expertise and amp; Product Support
  • Act as a subject matter expert in and nbsp;electronic components subsystems and radiation-tolerant technologies
  • Translate customer requirements into optimized technical solutions
  • Support applications involving and nbsp;power electronics embedded systems and space-qualified hardware
  • Evaluate competitive offerings and support differentiation strategies
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and address customer inquiries and objections

New Product Development and amp; Strategy
  • Support new product development from concept through production
  • Provide voice-of-customer feedback to engineering and product management
  • Identify emerging needs in and nbsp;space aerospace and advanced electronics markets
  • Assist in defining and validating next-generation product requirements
  • Contribute to long-term product and technology roadmap.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between customers engineering manufacturing and business units
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Marketing and Engineering teams
  • Support internal and external technical training on products and applications

and nbsp;Travel is more like 20-25% usually one week a month at a show.
Rad hard experience is greatly preferred. Space electronic component/subsystem experience is required.

Compensation: $120000 - 160000 base salary DOE plus a bonus and an excellent benefits package.
