Job Summary
Posting Summary
The Property and Housing Specialist is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of UVM Real Estates Operations ( REO ) and oversight and management of student housing for Larner College of Medicine ( LCOM ) students. The Property and Housing Specialist will support all aspects of LCOM student housing including long and short-term needs while supporting REOs efforts with off-campus housing initiatives for all UVM faculty staff and students on-campus housing resources for UVM employees confidential real estate transactions supporting the needs of on-campus commercial tenants and internal and external tracking reporting and analysis of LCOM housing and REO initiatives. Working closely with Real Estate Operations Team members General Counsel and various UVM Units while supporting REO and LCOM Deans Managers and Coordinators to provide support for safe equitable housing to LCOM students Provide substantial support with access to and analysis of complex and confidential University leases and other negotiated agreements. The Property and Housing Specialist reports to the Real Estate Director and the Office of General Counsel.
Desirable Qualifications
Familiarity with lease administration marketing legal language student support budgeting and document handling.
