1. Who This Role Is NOT For

This isnotthe right position if you:

• Want aslow easygoing daywith lots of downtime.

• Needconstant direction babysitting or reminders to stay on task.

• Avoid making decisions or feel uncomfortable asking questions and challenging inconsistencies.

• Get easily overwhelmed when there aremultiple deadlinesand moving parts.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Prepare and sendcustomer invoicesaccurately and on time.

• Postpayments and depositsand keep AR records clean and current.

• Monitoragingandfollow up on past due accountsprofessionally and persistently.

• Help withreconciliations reporting and monthend closerelated to AR.

Accounts Payable (AP)

• Processvendor and subcontractor invoices verify against purchase orders and confirm pricing/terms.

• Ensurebills are paid accurately and on time following company procedures.

• Help withjob costing profitability reports and reconciliationsas needed.
• MonitorAP emailsand respond quickly so nothing sits or gets stale.

Skills & Tools

You should be comfortable with:

• QuickBooksand other accounting or industry software (e.g.NextGear DASH etc.).

• Microsoft Office especiallyOutlookandExcel.

• Basicaccounting theoryand how AR/AP flows through the books.

Experience & Education

• 25 yearsof AR AP or general accounting experience is preferred.

• Accounting coursework certification or degreeis a plus but a strong work ethic and fast learning matter most.

• Experience working with insurancerelated claims adjusters TPAs or restoration projects is a strong plus especially handling documentation billing and followup tied to those claims.

• Background in insurancerelated claims or restoration (working with adjusters TPAs or claim documentation) is highly preferred

Work Environment

• This is aninoffice positionin a standard office setting with regular computer and phone work.

Hours:
Monday through Friday 7:30A.M.- 4:30 P.M.
