Fitness Center Attendant

Stonebridge Country Club has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Fitness Center Attendant with weekend availability reporting to the Director of Fitness.

The Fitness Attendant ensures that the Fitness Center is an inviting place that is well-stocked clean and organized for members enjoyment as well as the overall operation of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing a positive impression by displaying professionalism friendliness and outstanding customer service to club members and their guests.

• Continuously cleans the fitness center area and wipes down fitness equipment as often as needed.
• Greets members and guests of the fitness center; has them sign in; answers telephones and maintain files of program cards testing and other information.
• Assists the Fitness Director in initial and continued development of services within the Fitness Center.
• Cleans bathrooms when immediate attention is required.
• Sets-up and monitors exercise equipment.
• Assists with special events in other club departments when necessary.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Fitness Director.

Requirements:

• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have excellent communication skills be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.
• High School diploma or GED.

• CPR AED and First Aid certification preferred or will obtain within 90 days of employment.
• While performing the job duties the employee is regularly required to stand walk use hands handle objects tools and cleaning supplies.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms climb and balance.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including weekends holidays and early mornings.
• Prior experience in similar setting preferred.
