Job Summary

2026 Internal Fall Intent - SAP ***CURRENT EMPLOYEES ONLY***

School Age Program (SAP):This licensed After School Program is Camp Fire Alaskas largest program operating from mid-August through mid-May in multiple locations throughout Anchorage and Eagle River within Anchorage School District elementary schools.

Program Dates: SAP will begin with training and open to youth on the first day of school DATE through the last day of school on DATE. During school breaks such as in-services winter break and spring break SAP holds full day programming that staff have the opportunity to work longer shifts.

Program Hours:Monday - Friday After School hours of 2:00pm - 6:00pm

  • Chugach Optional (half day program every other Friday)

  • Polaris (2:45pm start time & 1/2 day every other Wednesday)

  • Rogers Park
  • Sand Lake

AVAILABLE POSITIONS FOR FALL 2026:

  • Program Staff:
    • Pay: $18.03/hour
    • Hours: 4-5 hours/day
    • This position directly supervises youth at program and facilitates activities at primarily one program location.
  • Multi-Site Program Staff:
    • Pay: $19.12/hour
    • Hours: 4-5 hours/day
    • This position directly supervises youth at program and facilitates activities across multiple program locations.
  • Assistant Site Director:
    • Pay Range: $20.53 - $22.82/hour DOE
    • Hours:6-7 hours/day
    • This position provides support to the Senior Site Director in planning management and supervision of assigned site with enrolled youth.
  • Senior Site Director:
    • Pay Range: $24.58 - 28.49/hour DOE
    • Hours:8 hours/day full-time non exempt
    • This position is responsible for the overall management and supervision of assigned sites with enrolled youth. Assisting with hiring orientation procedure compliance and training of new staff and site leadership.
