Job Description

This Student Engagement and Compliance position within Student Affairs is committed to fostering a safe inclusive and engaging campus environment that supports student success leadership development and career readiness. Through intentional student life programming equitable engagement opportunities and comprehensive career development services the department empowers students to build community develop transferable skills and achieve their academic and professional goals. Guided by a strong commitment to Title IX compliance and gender-based violence prevention the department upholds federal and state regulations while promoting dignity due process and traumainformed support for all members of the campus community. Working collaboratively across the college and with community partners the department advances student retention wellbeing and a vibrant campus culture grounded in equity accountability and belonging.

Salary Range:

$25.67 - $37.26/hour

Minimum Qualifications

  • One (1) year of relevant experience in student services compliance or related field. A Bachelors degree may substitute for 12 months of experience and an associates degree may substitute for 6 months of experience.

  • Ability to interpret institutional state and federal policies or regulations and translate them into supportive procedures and processes.

  • Communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships between college personnel and external stakeholders

  • Experience working with students from diverse and traditionally underserved backgrounds and with varied needs and ability to maintain confidentiality while doing so.

  • Experience planning and organizing multiple activities delivering results and meeting deadlines.

  • Experience in a work environment in which maintaining confidentiality was critical.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (higher education student personnel political science communications counseling etc.).

  • Experience working in career development programming and/or student activities coordination.

  • Training in trauma-informed practices and culturally competent service delivery.

  • Experience developing and delivering training that engages learners and achieves learning objectives.

  • Knowledge of Title IX regulations and student development principles
