Position Overview:
Perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in marine equipment and systems. Test finished electrical units to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics to guide installation and repair work.
- Proven work experience in electrical assembly.
- Knowledge of marine electrical systems and components a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and procedural guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
- Knowledge of programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for automating and controlling electrical systems.
- Understanding of power distribution systems and their maintenance
- Attention to detail.
- Good Communication
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven problem solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willing and able to be cross-functionally trained throughout the workstation to cover and fill in for absenteeism. Broad range of skill & working knowledge of work tasks plus working knowledge of related tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
- Must be willing to work extra hours required to assure timely completion of critical projects.
Maintain cleanliness ensure safety compliance to include PPE adherence safety policy adherence and safe behaviors and conditions. Must possess the desire and ambition to always work safely and report all hazards to their supervisor immediately.
Must understand basic terminology such as OSHA DEP and other regulatory agencies.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment where designated including but not limited to safety glasses hearing protection gloves etc.
The pay range for this position is $21.42 to $24.05 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic location. In addition to base pay this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program. This position is also eligible for an award target as part of Brunswicks long-term incentive program.
